RESULTS OF SEARCHES IN RESPONSE TO CUSTOMER'S ENQUIRIES.

These articles are mostly in response to enquiries about specific conditions or the efficacy of specific nutritional supplements.  As the slogan on our website has it, they look for the place "where science and complementary health meet".

In other words, the purpose is to search for the scientific evidence for the effectiveness of nutritional supplements.  Some have links to relevant scientific material available on the internet for free.

There are also two longer articles, one about soy products and how they can be of assistance in prostate and breast cancer prevention, as well as their more well-known usefulness in the treatment of menopausal symptoms.  The other one is about Zinc and why it is necessary to health.

To find more background on these subjects I recommend the National Library of Medicine website http://medlineplus.gov .  If you want to see more scientific papers, try the search facility on their "Entrez Med" section at http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/ .

A book which I found very helpful in learning the basics of good nutrition, and which I still refer to occasionally, is “Nutritional Medicine” by Stephen Davies and Alan Stewart.  You can read a review of it by, ahem, well, yours truly actually, by clicking on this hyperlink:
