On this page we list websites which contain information
about Tenerife - how to get there and what to do on your holiday. |
|
| Travel to Tenerife:
There are, of course, lots of charter airlines which fly to Tenerife
from many British airports. The best way to book is to contact a
travel agent and get the best available "flight only"
deal. Be sure to inform the airline directly if you have a
disability which will require you to have special assistance (as well as
telling the travel agent). The majority of charter flights to
Tenerife from the United Kingdom are on Fridays with smaller numbers on
Tuesdays and Sundays. |
The following is a list of scheduled airlines which have
regular
flights between the United Kingdom and Tenerife; this will give you more
flexibility as you can book one-way with these airlines - mix´n´match to
get the cheapest round-trip! Flights from larger airports are daily or
almost every day of the week; from regional airports at least one day a week
(but from the very smallest airports may be peak season only, i.e. Winter &
major holidays). You can book flights on their website but some airlines
also require you to contact them separately with details of your disability.
- British

Valley & Edinburgh 1-2 days a week.

2 flights a week from Blackpool.
- Ryanair Flights from
Dublin, Shannon, Liverpool and East Midlands - contact Ryanair for
frequencies. 'Phone numbers: Ireland: 0818 30 30 30;
UK: 0871 246 0000.
- Thomsonfly.com From about
20 airports all over the United Kingdom! High Frequency (3 or more
flights a week) from Luton, Gatwick, Birmingham, Doncaster, Manchester &
Newcastle-upon-Tyne.
Important note: Thomsonfly also fly to Tenerife North
airport from Manchester and Gatwick. These flights are suitable if
you're going to Puerto de la Cruz or another Northern resort but, if you're
going to a Southern resort (Los Cristianos, Playa de Las Americas, Los
Gigantes, etc.), arriving there would result in a long, expensive taxi ride
to your resort! |
