The Helping Hand in Tenerife

 Important notice.

Due to health problems we have been forced to discontinue the "Helping Hand" service of finding and booking holiday accomodation for disabled persons in South Tenerife with immediate effect.  The other services provided by The Helping Hand have also been discontinued.  All outstanding reservations are secure and any remaining payments are to be made directly to the owners of the respective apartments.  I have already been in contact with all those people who hold reservations, but if you would like more information, you can e-mail me by clicking here.

Wheelchair-accessible apartments are still available to rent via the following companies - indeed you will find many of the apartments advertised are exactly the same ones as appeared on The Helping Hand's website:

Active Mobility at http://www.activemobility-tenerife.com/ .  This company also rents out and sells wheelchair, scooters and a wide variety of other aids for disabled people.

Blue Badge-Tenerife at http://www.bluebadge-tenerife.com/ .  They also run a wheelchair-accessible taxi service - especially helpful for getting to and from the airport.
